I remember the first time I tasted gluten free bread, it was years ago. I never forget it tasted terrible, it was boring and dry. So excluding gluten from my diet, brought back bad memories.
I have tried different recipes, change a little here and there, and ended up with this recipe. The buns that are really delicious if I have to say that myself.

Gluten Free Buns recipe


Gluten Free Buns:

  • 0,5 l water
  • ⅓ package yeast
  • 2,5 Tbsp. psyllium powder
  • 1 dl sunflower seeds
  • 1 dl pumpkin seeds
  • 150 g gluten free oatmeal
  • 150 g buckwheat flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. oil

Start by dissolving the yeast in the water, then add the psyllium powder and stir well until the powder is completely dissolved. Leave it for 5 minutes, then add oil, salt, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds and stir around. Now stir in the oatmeal. Finally, add the buckwheat flour and knead it all together. You can also mixer. The dough must rise for 30-60 minutes.
Form the dough to nine buns, and bake in the oven at 200 degrees for 30 minutes.

Try them; even if you have no problems with gluten, you will be surprised.
