The pumpkin season is on there is literally pumpkins everywhere. All food bloggers, instagrammers and you tubers have already shared their first pumpkin recipes. It’s time for me to join. Here is two of my favorite pumpkin seeds recipes.
Salted pumpkin seeds:
After cleaning the pumpkin seeds, boil them in light salted water for approx. 20 min. Drain them and add to a baking sheet, sprinkle with a high quality salt, and bake at 175 degrees until they start to pop up and get a light color, about 20-25 min.
Cocoa pumpkin seeds:
After cleaning the pumpkin seeds, boil them in light salted water for approx. 20 min. Drain them and stir them with 1,5 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder and 1 Tbsp. syrup (I used agave). Spread them out on a baking sheet and bake at 175 degrees for about 20 min. keep an eye on them, so the sugar from the syrup does not burn.
What do you do with your pumpkin seeds?
